Soak a handful of almonds overnight and grind them to a fine paste in the morning. Mix the paste with very little rose water and apply the paste over the area to be treated. 2. Rose Water Treatment

Rose water is known for its cooling and soothing properties and thus it works wonderfully well for the problem of dark eye circles especially in people who develop dark circles due to lack of sleep. You can prepare rose water at home or buy organic rose water from a drug store. Keep the rose water bottle refrigerated at all times.

Take two clean cotton balls and dip them in cool rose water. Cover your eyes with the treated cotton and relax for 15 minutes. Remove the cotton balls and throw them away. Repeat the treatment for 15 minutes again after a gap of six hours. Using cucumber for getting rid of dark eye circles is easy. Cut two thin and round slices of cucumber and put one over each eye. Leave for 15 minutes but keep poking the cucumber to let out a regular flow of juice to the eyes.

Applying ice packs over the darkened eyes is an excellent way of removing dark circles. However, don’t try this treatment if you live in cold environs. Wrap 3-4 cubes of ice in a clean cotton towel.
