7 Home Remedies For Skin Scrapes

Remedies For Skin Scrapes

An abrasion is a kind of wound, which is caused by a superficial damage to the upper layers of the skin, so that the skin layers beneath the epidermis are not affected. Most of the times there is no bleeding, and at other times it is bare minimum. The deeper abrasions may be a cause of a scar, later on. The cause of abrasion is mainly a moving contact with the rough surfaces. The contact leads to the rubbing away, of the upper skin layer. The first degree abrasions only involve the skin’s upper epidermal layer, the second degree ones also involve the dermis, and there may be slight bleeding present as well. The third degree abrasions are also known as avulsions, and involve a damage to the subcutaneous layer of the skin. The mild abrasions or scrapes can be easily healed through the home remedies, which provide for better management of the condition.
