An individual can consume apple cider vinegar (2 teaspoons) mixed with honey (2 teaspoons) 3 to 4 times in a day to treat the problem of excessive sweating. Intake of this mixture empty stomach or before each meal can provide better results.Application of apple cider vinegar on the armpits can also help in reducing the body odour. Therefore, apple cider vinegar can be used both internally and externally in the treatment of excessive sweating.
Tomato juice can also be consumed for obtaining relief from the problem of excessive sweating. To obtain best results, tomato juice should be consumed on a daily basis for a period of one week. After one week, drinking tomato juice on every alternate day can help in the treatment of excessive sweating.
Zinc Rich Foods
The problem of excessive sweating can also be cured by the consumption of foods containing zinc. Intake of whole grains, nuts and legumes can provide effective results. It is interesting to note that consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables can also provide relief from the problem of excessive sweating.
Sage is another home remedy for excessive sweating. An individual can prepare and consume sage tea 2 times in a day to reduce the production of sweat. Sage tea bags can also be kept under the arms. Further, sage can be added to the food items consumed on a daily basis.
Wheatgrass can also help an individual in dealing with the problem of excessive sweating. This remedy is generally used to obtain relief from excessive underarm sweat. Wheatgrass should be consumed on a daily basis for a period of 2 to 3 weeks to obtain the desired results.
Direct application of gooseberry juice on the affected area can also help in curing the problem of excessive sweating. To obtain best results, gooseberry juice should be applied atleast 20 – 25 minutes before taking a bath.
Alum has antiseptic and astringent properties. An individual can wash the affected area with a mixture of alum and water to deal with the problem of excessive sweating and body odour.
